The "failed to set data for invsecr 4 - destroy index.dat" error ussualy appears when you're not using an administrator account. Try to start Invisible Secrets by right-clicking the program in the start menu and selecting “Run as Administrator”?

Self-decrypting packages
Posted on 04/21/2010, 07:07 by Invisible Secrets Support
The encrypted mail feature creates self-decrypting packages, so you don't need to send the program. The package itself is a program and the other person only needs to know the right password.

The End?
Posted on 11/26/2010, 07:51 by Johnny B
Hello, I am using both Invisible Secrets(version 4.6.3) and SafeBit. I dont use all features, only Steganography, Self-Decrypting Packages, Password Manager, Password Generator and Shredder. I was pretty surprised, because i didnt note any bugs or issues, (it is critical for this type of software, as i think). Its really great software, fast, reliable, with amazing design, good help-guide and without tons of useless options. The only question i have is why i see "Copyright 1999-2007" in the "about" tab? Is development stopped? If so, how long support will be available? Thanks for your products, its really useful.

Invisible Secrets' appeal lies in its ability to demystify the complicated subject of data security and provide even novice users with a valuable tool for safeguarding their data.

Overall, I consider this one of the best-written programs I've looked at. Very well designed. Very functional. The programmers included enough to make it a viable business program, but still have made it attractive to the individual user. A "MUST" for anyone worried about file and password security.
